Handmade with love and care

I discovered crochet in a time of my life, when I realised I needed to slow down, and concentrate on my mental well-being, crochet is an act of mindfulness, relaxation and satisfaction.
I have refined my craft through exploring a variety of techniques and by creating my own unique patterns. I am meticulous about my work and every basket I make is handmade with love and care.

I only use high quality eco friendly materials, thus making each of my items a heirloom item.

The Happily Hooked name came to life, with my love of Creative visualisation, and mindfulness.
The great sense of achievement you get by producing something handmade by yourself, is unbeatable. Simply by doing the thing that you love in a sense of methodical calmness.

The Eco journey

The recycled materials from which the cotton is made, is from production waste factories and consumers in the form of used clothes and other cotton textiles. The textiles are primarily cut into smaller pieces and then shredded. The colour is created by using the shredded cotton and is mixed in specific proportions in order to receive the design shade.

The cotton has not only received an OEKO-TEX certificate standard 100 in first class !! This means that the cotton is tested at every production level and it does not contain any substances that are harmful for your health, the cotton maybe safely be used for the baskets, and inclusively for toddlers, people with allergies. The granted certificate guarantees, that not only the products labelled, are free from harmful substances, pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldenhyde, allergenic dyes and extractable heavy metals.

All The happily hooked labelinging is manufactured on a cork label.
